Frequently Asked Questions

Who pays the 10% commission?
The organizer pays it up front and the artist carries the cost. Once an artist accepts, the organizer puts 10% down via Stripe and we hold it — it is not ours yet. If the booking goes ahead it is deducted from the artist's fee, so the organizer's total outlay is the fee they agreed and the artist receives that fee less our 10%. Nobody is charged twice.
What happens to the deposit if the booking falls through?
It stays held, not spent. If you and the artist don't reach a deal, the deposit carries to whoever you book instead. If you don't end up booking anyone on the platform at all, we refund it to you in full. We only keep it when a booking is actually signed — and even then it comes out of the artist's fee, not your pocket.
Can I upgrade or downgrade at any time?
Yes. You can switch plans at any time from your account settings. Changes take effect at the next billing cycle.
How do I talk to an artist or manager?
Every booking has its own message thread inside the platform, so the conversation, the offer and the paperwork all stay in one place instead of scattered across inboxes.
What does the AI Event Planner do?
The AI Planner helps artists and managers identify the right venues, estimate fees, draft outreach messages, and build booking pipelines — all from a conversational interface inside the platform.
What if I have more than 10 artists?
Pro covers up to 10 artists and 4 team logins, which fits most agencies. Past that, talk to us — a Custom plan lifts both limits, and if your agency needs something the standard plans do not do, we would rather build it than have you work around it. Email info@bookyourtalent.co and we will price it against the size of your roster.
What are the three AI agents?
The Booking Agent finds venues and organizers worth approaching and drafts the approach. The Legal Agent holds your standard terms and turns an accepted booking into a contract to send and sign. The Tour Agent — the AI Event Planner — reads your calendar and costs the routing and travel before you commit. Starter includes the Booking and Legal agents; the Tour Agent is Pro.
Is there a free trial for paid plans?
You can explore the platform on our Free tier with no time limit. Paid plans unlock inquiry sending, messaging, and outbound search.
