Privacy Policy
Last updated 13 October 2026
This policy explains what personal data BookYourTalent collects when you book or offer talent on the platform, why we need it, who we share it with and the choices you have. It applies to our website, dashboards and the emails we send.
1.Who we are
Book Your Talent is an iSkale Group company, based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. We are the data controller for the personal data described here, meaning we decide why and how it is used. Under Türkiye's Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK) we act as the data controller (veri sorumlusu).
For anything about your data, write to info@bookyourtalent.co.
2.What we collect
Information you give us
- Account: name, email address, password (stored only as a secure hash by our sign-in provider), and whether you are an organiser, artist or manager.
- Profile: for organisers, company, position, country and WhatsApp number; for artists and managers, artist name, bio, genres, fee range, social media links, country, WhatsApp number, press kit, technical rider and contract template.
- Events and bookings: event type, date, city, budget and brief, booking requests, offers, contracts and their terms.
- Messages: what you write to other users through our anonymous relay, and the documents you share in a booking.
- AI conversations: what you type to our AI assistant and agents, and what they answer.
- Payments: plan, invoices and payment status. Card details go directly to Stripe; we never see or store them.
Information from services you connect
- Calendars: if you connect Google Calendar or paste a calendar link, we read the dates and times of your events to show your availability. We do not change your calendar. Event details are read when needed and not copied into our database; for Google we store only the access keys, which are deleted when you disconnect. BookYourTalent's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Information collected automatically
- Technical data such as IP address, browser type and pages visited, recorded by our hosting provider for security and to keep the service running.
- Cookies, as described in our Cookie Policy.
3.How we use it, and our legal basis
| Purpose | Legal basis (GDPR Art. 6 / KVKK Art. 5) |
|---|---|
| Creating and running your account, matching organisers with artists, handling requests, contracts, messages and payments | Performance of our contract with you |
| Recommending artists, gigs and venues with AI, and drafting contracts and replies you ask for | Performance of our contract with you |
| Keeping the platform secure, preventing fraud, bots and abuse, and enforcing our Terms | Our legitimate interests |
| Improving the service and understanding how it is used | Our legitimate interests; your consent where cookies are involved |
| Sending service emails (booking updates, contract status, security) | Performance of our contract with you |
| Sending news and offers | Your consent, which you can withdraw at any time |
| Keeping invoices, contracts and payment records | Our legal obligations under tax and commercial law |
4.AI features
Our AI features are powered by Anthropic. When you use them, the relevant information (for example your event brief, an artist's public profile, a contract you ask us to review, or your message to the assistant) is sent to Anthropic to produce the answer. Under our commercial agreement, Anthropic does not use this data to train its models.
AI suggestions are recommendations. Nothing the AI produces is sent to another user or signed on your behalf without you choosing to do so, and no decision with legal or similarly significant effects on you is made by automated means alone. AI-drafted contracts are templates, not legal advice.
5.The anonymous message relay
Organisers and artists talk through addresses such as convo-123@bookyourtalent.co, so neither side sees the other's real email address. To make this work we store the messages and forward them by email. We do not read your conversations, except where needed to resolve a dispute you raise, to investigate abuse or fraud, or where the law requires it.
7.International transfers
Our main database is hosted in the European Union (Frankfurt, Germany), and some providers above process data in other countries, including the United States. Where data leaves the European Economic Area or Türkiye, we rely on adequacy decisions or the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses, and for transfers from Türkiye on the safeguards required by Article 9 of KVKK. You can ask us for a copy of the safeguards that apply.
8.Venues and organisers we contact
To help artists find gigs, we keep a directory of venues, promoters, event agencies and wedding planners. We collect business contact details from public sources such as the organisation's own website, public business listings, ticketing sites and social media profiles, and from contacts provided by our team.
We keep only business details such as the organisation's name, address, website, social media and general contact addresses like booking@ or info@. We use them because we have a legitimate interest in connecting artists with venues that book live acts. If you would rather not hear from us, reply to any message or write to info@bookyourtalent.co: we mark the organisation so that nothing is sent to it again.
9.How long we keep it
- Account and profile: while your account is open. After you ask us to close it, we delete or anonymise it within 30 days, except the records below.
- Contracts, invoices and payment records: as long as tax and commercial law requires, up to 10 years.
- Messages and booking documents: while the account of either party to the booking is open, then deleted with the records above.
- Calendar access keys: until you disconnect the calendar.
- Security logs: kept by our hosting provider for a limited period.
10.Your rights
Depending on where you live, you can ask us to:
- tell you whether we process your data and give you a copy of it;
- correct data that is wrong or incomplete;
- delete your data, or restrict how we use it;
- give you your data in a portable format;
- stop using your data where we rely on legitimate interests, or for direct marketing;
- withdraw consent you have given, at any time, without affecting what was done before.
Under KVKK Article 11 you also have the right to learn the purpose of processing, know the third parties data is transferred to in Türkiye or abroad, and claim compensation for damage caused by unlawful processing.
Write to info@bookyourtalent.co from the email address on your account. We answer within one month (30 days under KVKK). You can also complain to your data protection authority: in the EU, the authority in your country; in Türkiye, the Personal Data Protection Authority (Kişisel Verileri Koruma Kurumu).
11.Security
We protect your data with encryption in transit, access controls that let each user see only their own bookings, private storage for documents with short-lived download links, and two-factor authentication for our staff accounts. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach puts your data at risk, we will tell you and the relevant authority as the law requires.
12.Children
BookYourTalent is for people aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone younger.
13.Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we update the date at the top. If the change is significant, we tell you by email or in the app before it takes effect.
